CRAFT
Fresh makes all the difference at Craft. Our burgers begin with hand-formed patties and are prepared fresh to order with great care. Even our French fries and sweet potato fries are freshly cut by hand. Local and fresh, never frozen. These are the principles that make the AVI Fresh Grill one of a kind. We also serve up healthy options, including Turkey Burgers and Vegetarian Burgers, and express our creativity with weekly features such as Black Bean and Avocado Burger, Tempeh Reuben Burger and Grilled Portobello Sandwich.

HOMESTEAD KITCHEN
Provides a rotating menu of contemporary homestyle comfort food entrées. Our team has developed recipes inspired by the unique spices and techniques featured invarious cultures and ethnic backgrounds to provide the comforts of home.

TRATTORIA
Offering the next generation of signature pizza and pasta dishes served up in a true Italian bistro style. Our contemporary and authentic culinary creations are created fresh with housemade pasta, dough and our own signature sauces. Our commitment to authenticity and quality is evident as our culinarians prepare our delicious pasta and pizza creations in plain view. You will taste the difference!

SMOKE & FIRE
True to its name – a contemporary venue where students enjoy the delicious aroma and warm colors of homemade meals being prepared right before their eyes. With our smoker, we slowly smoke chicken, pork, beef, vegetables, and even fruit, to emphasize the delicate nuances of seasonings. Enjoy our KoftaKabobs with House-made Spiced Ground Beef and Garlic Yogurt Sauce and more.

STACK'D
Stack’d Deli offers a variety of build-your-own deli favorites and signature sandwiches. Using premium cuts of meats and cheeses from Smithfield Foods’ iconic Kretschmar Premium Craft Deli, guests can choose from fresh bread and toppings to create a customized sandwich that fits their tastes perfectly! Not sure what to pick? Choose one of our delicious signature deli sandwiches; it’s an easy choice!

ROOTS
Focusing on whole, unrefined, or minimally refined plants, we incorporate a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, tubers, whole grains, and legumes in our recipes. Additionally we exclude or minimize animal proteins, dairy products and eggs, as well as highly refined foods like bleached flour, refined sugar and oil.

BAKE SHOPPE
You will see our commitment to fresh preparation extends throughout our program - right to our handcrafted dessert specialties. To enhance the experience, we bring our baking out front with an open kitchen environment. Students will see first hand the careful crafting of our specialty selections. All of our tempting items are professionally merchandised to give our venue the look and feel of an upscale bakery.

The Hiram Bistro, located in the Kennedy Center, is a go-to spot for handcrafted beverages and Fresh to go! options.

Terrier Cash
Terrier Cash is a pre-paid account that can be used in the Hiram College Bookstore and at any of the campus dining venues. This account is separate from the student bill. Any unspent Terrier Cash remains available until a student is no longer enrolled at Hiram College. Three meal plans are available to all commuter, townhouse and Weekend College students.

Food Allergens and Preferences

The student can meet with the dietitian and Chef Manager of their dining hall of choice to learn how to safely navigate the dining locations and discuss appropriate dining options. The student is responsible for communicating any questions or concerns to the Chef Managers or dining supervisors in the dining facilities. We always recommend personal interaction with our management staff to obtain the most accurate information at the time of meal service.

GLUTEN SENSITIVE
All students with celiac disease or non-celiac gluten sensitivity must meet with the dietitian and the Chef Manager in the dining facilities most frequently visited.
