Students are required to purchase a dining meal plan with meal swipes to use for an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal at the dining halls or to use for a designated meal in the retail locations. Flex Dollars act as cash and maybe used at any retail dining venue.
Smoke & Fire - Classic comfort style dishes and locally-sourced produce enhancing the flavors of each dish.
Grill -From sizzling grilled specialities to irresistible traditional favorites.
The Carvery - In-house roasted and smoked deli meats, freshly carved each day and served on locally sourced breads.
Trattoria - Fresh signature pizzas, pastas, and made from scratch dough and sauces.
Roots - An enticing collection of exclusively plant-forward meals.
NutriBar - Experience freshness daily with our salads, crafted with locally sourced and seasonal produce.
Blue Fin - Ethically sourced fresh seafood, seafood salads, and other delectable options.
Bake Shoppe - Savor house-baked specialities, pastries, cakes, and cookies.

Lord-Saunders Dining Hall offers entrées, sides, and accompaniments, reflective of the African diaspora. Avariety of different dishes will be featured through an extensive rotating menu.

Customers can purchase the reusable containers from the cashier stations at Lord Saunders Dining Hall, Stevenson Dining Hall and Clarity.
The containers have a one-time cost of 5 dollars and can be used at these locations throughout your dining experience at Oberlin College. The boxes are available for purchase throughout the academic year; customers do not need to have a meal plan to participate in the program. We accept payment through Flex Dollars, Obie Dollars, and Debit/Credit Cards.

Meal Swipes are deposited onto your card at the beginning of the semester and can be used until the end of the semester. Meal Swipes are not transferrable.
If you have depleted your meal swipes, you may purchase meals with another form of payment.
Meal Swipe exchanges are available in all of our retail locations.
The deadline to make changes to your Fall 23 meal plan is September 15, 2023, and the deadline to make changes to your Spring 24 meal plan is February 20, 2024.
Flex Dollars roll over from semester to semester, but not between academic years. Any Flex Dollars left in your account at the end of Semester 3 will be lost.
Once students deplete their Flex Dollars, they have the option to use their Obie Dollars or another form of payment.
Obie Dollars works like a prepaid debit card that allows you to make purchases at any dining location.
Obie dollars may be added online, at ID card office or at kiosks at any library.
Obie Dollars may be added in any amount.
